The technological and environmental validation process of our concrete has been rigorous and supported by leading institutions in the sector.

The mechanical and durability tests were conducted by the Istituto di Meccanica dei Materiali (IMM SA), which certified the performance of the material under real conditions. At the same time, the filler obtained CE marking following tests conducted at the ENCO laboratory, with subsequent CE certification issued by ICMQ – confirming compliance with the highest European standards.

Our solutions enable the production of concrete with maximum durability, extending the lifespan of infrastructures through self-healing properties, while counteracting reinforcement corrosion and damage caused by carbonation

SELF-HEALING

LOW CARBONATION

Breakage and exposure

The reinforcement is exposed to air and water

Water infiltration

Crack healing process as DMAT is activated by water

Sealed
crack

No reinforcement corrosion as a result of crack closure

Improved barrier

Reduced CO₂ penetration

Reduced corrosion

The reinforcement remains protected for longer

Inspired by Roman structures that have endured for over 2,000 years, DMAT Labs have developed novel technologies and solutions to address today’s industry challenges and opportunities.

For years, as part of an international research team, we have been investigating the secrets of Roman concrete — until we discovered the key to its extraordinary durability.

The research results were published by the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the paper is in the top 5% of scientific research ever published.

This scientific approach has enabled us to develop innovative solutions that make concrete more durable and sustainable, allowing DMAT to actively contribute to solving the challenges of today’s construction industry.
